Fun day at the lake!

Today me and my friend took our friends to the lake. It was a HOT day. Our husbands work together and the lake was right down the street. So they came for lunch and hung out with us. All the kids had a blast. The water was perfect!
I have a feeling that I will be going to the lake alot this summer. The kids had a great time, and so did I!

1 down- 11 to go!!!

This last friday Nate took work off and I left my kids with my mother law,and Nate and I re-modeled one of our apartments bathrooms. Now, all of our aparmtents have been totally updated and remodeled/ EXCPET THE BATHROOMS! We have been not looking forward to do that. But Friday Nate and I put on our game faces and we did it. We put in a new shower and tub surround. ( there was that nasty 60's tile up) got rid of the old pink toliet. Got rid of the pink sink and put a new sink in. New paint, new flooring, new light fixture. It was alot of work, but it is rewarding to look over the pictures and see how much better everything looks. We have not put up the trim around the new shower surround. ( we will be doing that tonight)besides that were done with that 1 bathroom and have 11 more to do. We have a new tenant moving in tommorw. We were able to raise the rent over $50.00 because of the updated bathroom. I am sore and exausted... but so glad were done with that bathroom!
There is also a picture of Joshua trying to put on Nate's shoes. I thought it was so cute. He wants to be just like his dad! I don't blame him.... !

Beautiful Day!

Today was a beautiful day. It was nice and warm...... thank heavens it was not raining. The boys were riding bikes and playing with there friends. Ethan has started to try to walk. He can take a few steps at a time. I can't believe that he is already starting to walk. It seems just like yesterday I was brining him home from the hospital. He is only 9 months old. My other kids did not walk until they were 1 years old. I guess every kid is different. Life here is pretty good. Were busy with work and kids. I am excited for all the little fun summer activites that we have planned.

Happy Birthday Parker!!!!!!

We celebrated another birthday for Parker! He is now 5 years old! I can't believe it. This year we went all out! We celebrated it twice. One time down in Utah, where he got a new bike. Joshua got his old one- but to him it's new! So he was excited.
Then Grandpa and Grandma Blaylock treated the kids to Chuckie Cheese. They loved it. They have always wanted to go, but we dont have one here in Idaho. So they went to the one in Utah. It was so fun!
Then Parker invited TONS of friends to our home for his birthday bash! It was crazy but lots of fun.
I can't believe I am a mom of a 5 year old. Time flies!

St. George Utah, with my family

On Monday, Me and my 2 older sisters headed down to St. George, Utah for my uncle Paul's funeral. This trip was bitter sweet because we were able to see so many faces from our home town in California, and most importantly all our family, and my cousins who we grew up with. I was so grateful to be able to attend the funeral and see my Uncle Paul for the last time here in earth. I was thinking of all the good memories I had with him when I was a Little girl, and it made me so grateful that I knew that families can be together forever. I would be so sad and confused if I did not have a testimony of our church. I could not imagine not being together with my family after they pass.
It was a good trip and I loved being with my family and seeing so many old friends.
