Happy 1st Birthday to sweet Grace!

Happy Birthday to Our sweet baby Grace!
Grace turned 1 on July 10, 2012
What a year we have had. Not exactly how I planned this last year to go. I remember when I was in labor with Grace Nate was sooooo excited to finally see her. He kept asking me, "hurry and get her out!" He was so happy to finally wrap his arms around this little baby girl. Even though he only had a few weeks with her, their bond was very strong. I know Nate is close by and is watching her grow up. I just wish I could see it in person. The birthday was held up by Nate at the cemetery. I invited our closest friends and family to be there. We had cupcakes and we sang happy birthday to her. It was a very sweet tender moment sitting up by Nate and celebrating the life of our daughter Grace.

Parker gets Baptized!

Parker was Baptized on Saturday June,30 2012
That day was bitter sweet for me. I was so happy that my son had chosen to follow in the footsteps of his father, Nate. I know he is that much closer to being able to be reunited with Nate someday. I know Nate is so proud of Parker. I felt Nate so strong in the church during the ceremony. Before we headed up to the church we stopped off to visit Nate and took some pictures. The night before I was feeling so sad and was actually dreading the Baptism. I know it sounds bad, but I did. I wanted to see Nate there and watching him with Parker and doing what he should have been doing with his sweet little boy. Nate's brother Jake was able to Baptize Parker and I am so grateful for that. That night I prayed that I could find comfort and peace and asked for me to be happy and be the proud mom that I am suppose to be and make it a great day for Parker. My prayers were answered and it was a great day. I am so proud of my oldest son Parker and look forward to many more exciting steps in life to eventually lead him back to our Father in Heaven and Nate.

Bahama Cruise 2012

I went on a cruise with my friend Sandy from New York last week and all I can say is, AAAAAMMMMAZING! I flew into Florida where Sandy picked me up from the airport and we headed to the boat. We went to 2 different islands in the Bahamas. We went to private islands where we laid on the beach, kissed and danced with dolphins, laid under palm trees in hammocks and went parasailing over the ocean.I haven't laughed this hard and this long in really long time. It felt great to have a smile on my face again. I will never forget this vacation and time I had with her. The Bahamas are BEAUTIFUL! The Islands looked just like a post card. I could not believe I was actually laying on the beach and I was looking at the crystal blue waters and white soft sand. It was a much needed break from work and the stresses of the world that I now face. By the end of the cruise I was ready to see my kids and give them all their gifts I got for them. I had a amazing time and I thank Nate for giving me the opportunity to go on this vacation and make some good memories with my dear friend Sandy.
