Here is a photo of my dear friends, James and Janie Allinen. James to the right was with Nate in the dune buggy when the accident happened. James has suffered severe injuries and is now on the road to recovery. His family has impacted our life’s and my heart aches for them. James and his wife and family have been a pillar of strength and have shown such love and compassion for me and my kids. They love Nate and have made a huge impact in our life’s. I pray that Nate will bless this sweet couple with comfort and let them feel the love Nate and I have for them. Thank you, Allinen Family for showing true compassion and concern for us. Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011 was held here in Idaho Falls. My whole family came up. Christmas has been really hard this year and I am just wanting it to be over. Despite my feelings the kids had smiles on their faces and had a great Christmas. Our family was so blessed by service from others. After church we went to visit Nate and put letters into his mail box for his Christmas gifts.
Today, to help with my feelings of sadness and heart break, I would count all my many blessings and it seemed to help. I am so proud of Nate and always have been. I pray that he can watch all these special moments with our children and see their faces. Our family is so blessed and I am so grateful I know that Nate and I are sealed and will see each other again. What a great day that will be to hug and kiss him again. I can't wait for that day.

November 11, 2011 Boondockers films and with the help of KLIM and many very special individuals helped pull of an unbelievable way to honor Nate. So many people put countless hours and used their creativity and most importantly used their passion and love for Nate to pull this night off for us. Tickets sold out 230 seats available and almost 300 people came. There were people sitting on the floor and standing against the walls. This event was held in a movie theater here in town. Before boondockers played the new release of their new movie they played a beautiful tribute and video of Nate and had all of our family pictures up on the big screen. There were interviews filmed of some of Nate's friends and co-workers and they told such amazing stories about Nate. The movie was truly amazing and I am so thankful for all the hard work that was put into this event. It was EXTREMELY successful and I know Nate was there in spirit and I am sure he was touched.

Today we celebrated Joshua's 6Th Birthday. Joshua was born on Nov. 3, 2005. From day 1 he was our kind hearted soft spoken loving little boy. Nate and I love Joshua and are so happy he came to us. Joshua is a strong little boy and he is dealing with strong emotions with loosing Nate. I know he tries hard to be happy, but I can tell he is constantly thinking about his Dad. My prayers are that my kids can find happiness and can find comfort eventually. It breaks my heart to see them sad. Today was a good day and Joshua was distracted from our "normal" life. It was great to see a smile from him. Happy Birthday Joshua! Mom and daddy love you!!!

I celebrated our anniversary on October 26,2011. We have been happily married for 8 years. I took an Anniversary card and put it in Nate's mail box and spent an hour or so laying next to him. It was a very hard day. I am the luckiest girl in the world to call Nate my eternal companion.

Parker starts Wrestling

Parker has starting wrestling and he is really enjoying it! I think it will really help with all the sadness he is going through. Nate and him would wrestle every night, and Parker has expressed to me he misses wrestling. I know I can't make everything go back to normal.. but I can try to put a smile on his face. He had his first meet and he won 3rd place in his division.

Letters to Daddy & Letters to Nate

We have a mailbox set up where Nate is. I hope and pray that friends and family will put letters in there for Nate. I will periodically empty out the mail box and save those letters and put them in his hope chest. I know that my kids alone will be filling up the mailbox. I would love to see other people's letters in there and I would love to save them and put them in his memory book labeled "Letter's to Nate" His headstone is still a month away from being finished and I am looking forward to it being done. My heart is full and I want to do anything I can to make him proud. He choose me to be his wife and the mother of his children. I am so proud of Nate and all he accomplished. He is a wonderful dad and the best husband any girl could ever ask for. My goal in life is to make him proud and to raise his sweet children the way he would want me to.

Grace was blessed Aug. 10,2011. She was being held by Nate and blessed by her grandpa Blaylock and our bishop and her Uncle Chris. Nate had his hands on her head and I know when Nate's dad was giving her the blessing Nate's spirit was telling his dad what to say. The words of the blessing were coming straight from Nate but spoken by her grandpa. I am so grateful Nate was able to be there for his daughters blessing. We blessed her on Nate's lap in the hospital. Nate was still with us and we all felt him very strong in that room. Why did Nate have to leave a wife and 4 kids and return to our Heavenly Father?
Why did he have to leave his 5 week old new baby girl?
Why did he have to leave 3 little boys who think the world of him?
Why did he have to leave a wife who thought he could do everything and anything?
Why did he leave me to all of our responsibilities?
Why did he leave a place we called our home?
Why did he leave me to tackle all the unknowns that are to come?
Why did he leave me to answer all the heartbreaking questions that are to come my way with his 4 children?
Why did he leave before he was able to see his boys get the priesthood and go off on to missions?
Why did he leave before dancing with his little girl on her wedding day?
Why did he leave me alone in bed every night?

I have only one answer.. It's because it's Gods plan.
I know he will be here in spirit to all of these things I have listed above. I know Nate would not miss out on any of theses important events to come.
The last few weeks have been something I would never wish upon anyone. My worst fear of loosing my husband has happened. I know we have a long road ahead of us, but with courage and strength, I know Nate will lead our family back to him. What a wonderful day that will be to wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him again. I know our family is forever.
I have no choice but to Succeed with the 4 special gifts Nate gave to me. I hope I can make him proud. And I just have to keep reminding my self when I am having a hard day that this is god's plan.

Were still keeping her away from the publc, but we thought it would be okay for our kids to finally hold her and Nate's family to come up from Utah to see her. Update on Grace- She is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen! She is now healthy and doing really really well.
As for me, I am in the hospital and had kidney surgery this morning and tomorrow I will have my appendix taken out in Thursday morning. Lots of pain and stress going on. I woke up Tuesday at 4am with extreme pain and was rushed to the ER. I have been here for 2 days and probably will have to stay a 3rd night if my surgery goes well in the morning. I am so lucky to have family and friends bringing dinners and taking care of my kids.My mom is bringing Grace a few hours a day and my heart is broken that I am not with her all the time. When she was born she was so sick and in the NICU and could not spend much time with her while in the hospital and then we come home for a week and now I am stuck here in the hospital. I know things will work out and I will be out to take care of Grace and all my boys. I sure miss them all!

Well, Grace is here! I can't even explain how excited Nate and I are to have this precious little girl. Sunday morning @ 1:50 am I woke up with contractions and decided to wait 6 hours to make sure that I was for sure in labor before heading to the hospital. After getting to the hospital they confirmed that I was in labor. So, at 1:00pm Grace entered this world and Nate and I could not control our emotions and were so overwhelmed with love for this new little spirit. After she was cleaned up Nate and I had a few moments alone with her and It was something I will never ever forget. Shortly after that the nurse came in and looked at Grace and thought she looked a little grey in color and looked weak. She decided to take Grace into the nursery to look at her better. Nate followed her in there and I was stuck in the room in bed. So as time went by I was getting updates from Nate via text and to my surprise Grace was really sick. They said she had a temperature of 102 degrees and was really grey in color. They said she had some kind of infection. They had to give her iv's and x-rays,and even a spinal tap. They admitted her into the NICU. My heart was broken and I felt so helpless. So after waiting 2 hours in my room all alone they let me go see her. That night was filled with discouraging news and they told me most likely she would have to stay in the hospital 7-10 days best case and 15 days worst case. The doctors also said she had to stay in the nursery and could not come into my room with me.
The next day, she was able to control her temperatures and was looking much better. We were still waiting for the results back from all her tests to confirm what kind of infection she had.
After waiting 72 hours and her being hooked up to antibiotics for 2 days the results came back. She was going to be okay. She contracted a virus that I had 4 days before I went into labor. After all said and done we are home with her and so grateful she is better. We are having so much fun and we are in love with her.
Grace weighed 7 pounds 6 oz and 21 inches long. Born July 10,2011

We went camping this weekend and on the way home, we let the kids hang out the windows because our air conditioner stopped working unexpectedly so everyone was soooooo hot. Looking at the kids faces made me laugh. Family time is always a good time.

Summer is finally here!!! I went to Lowes today and got plastic and used it as a giant slip n slide!!! It was a hit!!! The kids loved it. We had the neighbor kids all come out too.The kids were outside all day! I seriously think they played on he slip n slide for at least 6 hours!!!! It was sooooo hot today, it was very tempting to go down it myself,but we all know that would be impossible 9 months pregnant!

This year for Parker's birthday we decided to have a family birthday party instead of a friend birthday Party. Every year I go all out and invite a ton of people to celebrate it. This year I was wanting to keep it simple and try to avoid all the work. Maybe it's because I am about to have baby and I am EXHAUSTED ALL THE TIME!! So, we talked to Parker and asked him what he wanted to do and he gave us a few ideas. So here is what we did to celebrate his birthday... took him out to dinner and let him get anything he wanted, then he wanted to go to the pet store to look at animals ( just for fun) then we headed to Leo's and did laser tag and to play a few arcade games. This is the boys first time playing laser tag! They had a blast! After they were done with that, we came home and had cake and ice cream with just our family and he opened a few presents. I can't believe Parker is 7! It's even harder to believe that I have a 7 year old kid! The day Parker was born I remember how grateful I was that Heavenly father gave him to me. As I looked at this little baby boy, I remember feeling an overwhelming love for this boy. Some of the things I love about Parker are:
1. He is GREAT big brother
2. He is so helpful around the house
3. He never gives up on anything and he tries hard at everything he does
4. He is a hard worker like his dad
5. He is my first born baby
6. He is thoughtful
7. He has opened up to us theses last couple years and has expressed to us how much he loves us.
8. He is mature for his age and can handle responsibility that I give him
9. He will make a good salesman someday, he is always trying to make us "deals"
10.He has started to love to read books and I think him loving to read will make him a better student in the future. We love Parker and I am so happy he is my boy. Happy 7th birthday to Parker Nathan Blaylock!!!!

We went camping AGAIN this weekend! We are LOVING camping and look forward to more trips! We stayed 3 nights and went on hikes, bike rides, watch movies, play games, go on night adventure hikes with the kids and the highlight of this trip was going fishing! We bought the kids fishing poles and went fishing. We were literally camped right on the river. When we were setting up camp we saw a moose that was like 100 ft from our camp. The kids thought that was great! And of corse we saw a ton on other animals as well. Camping with my 3 little boys and Nate is always an adventure and we build lots and lots of memories, which is what is important to us. //1

Say hello to Joshua the Preschool Graduate of 2011!!! Joshua graduated last Thursday from his school. He has been going there for 2 years. His teacher was seriously the best teacher I have ever seen! Mrs. Jenkins was truly a loving teacher and we will miss her. Joshua now heads to Kindergarten... and a new set of adventures begin! Good Job Joshua!!!

This weekend we went camping for the first time for the for the year. We stayed 3 nights and had a BLAST!! We went on bikes rides, and hikes and played games. Nate's brother and sister in law and their little boy Burton came up the last night to go on a bike ride and hang out by the camp fire. I am so excited that camping season has started. It was a good time to spend quality time with our kids and family!

Apartment Yard makeover

So, last weekend we did a complete yard make over at one of our apartment buildings. I have wanted for years to re-do the 80's looking yard and update it with new plants and trees. We ripped out all the trees and bushes and planted all new plants and curbed it and put down bark. It looks sooooo much better. I can only imagine how much better it will look once the plants get bigger and get their color. I bought plants that will be purple, red,orange,green,plants with white flowers. It looks kind of bare right now, cause all the plants are so small and have no color but give it a year or so and it will look like a million bucks! The tenants would complain that the bushes would cover the windows and when it would snow Nate and I would have to drive over in a blizzard and knock all the snow of the trees so they would not break and fall over. The tree's also covered up the 4 different addresses and it was difficult for the tenants to tell people how to get to their apartment. So, it was time to take care of all of this and re-landscape the yard. It took all day Friday and Saturday and it was a TON of work. Next on the list is to paint the building and put up shutters. The inside of this particular building we have already re-modeled. So now it's on to the outside. Here are some pictures!

So, Nate and I have discovered a new game we like to play on the kids! It's sooooo much fun! We have been hiding in closets and showers and scaring our boys. We have been recording us scaring them. Their faces are PRICELESS!!! It's a new family favorite and it makes all of us laugh... laugh really hard!!!!

This weekend we headed down to Logan, Utah to see our brother in law graduate from college. While we were there we decided to walk around the Logan Temple. I have never seen the temple in person. All I can say is... IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!! Ethan was with us and he was shocked how big and tall it was. Here are some pictures of our visit to the Logan temple.

Easter 2011 was a hit this year. We hosted the Easter activities at our house and had all of Nate's family come up. Not only did we celebrate Easter but we also celebrated lots of birthdays that we have in the Blaylock family.. including mine! We had 1 big birthday cake and then we exchanged gifts. Saturday we woke up early to go to a huge Easter egg hunt! The kids had a BLAST! Ethan freaked out with all the noise and decided to cry and throw a fit. He did not end up with any candy or eggs. Parker and Joshua made up for the lack of eggs Ethan did not get. After we got home Nate pulled up our rocket launcher he made, and my kitchen turned into a rocket making factory! The whole family made rockets. Once we were done shooting rockets we took them outside and launched them. The rockets went over a hundred feet into the air and across the houses in my neighborhood! IT WAS A BLAST! After rockets we had our own Easter egg hunt in our back yard.
Later that night we had a huge Easter dinner and hung out together. The next morning we woke up to the boys finding their Easter baskets on the fire place.Even little Grace got a basket with a pink bunny rabbit! After playing with all their new little toys that were in the baskets we went to church and enjoyed a nice Easter program.
We had a great weekend with family and we love making theses fun memories with our kids! HAPPY EASTER!!

Wolf and Bear Museum in Yellowstone National Park!!!

Last weekend we headed up to Yellowstone and went to the wolf and bear museum with the kids. It was a lot of fun. We were able to get a "behind the scenes" look at all the bears and wolfs. We saw a bear that was 1500 pounds!!! It was HUGE!!!! It was a great time to spend with the kids and we will be going back during the summer!

This last weekend we ditched the kids and went up to Togwotee Lodge in WY. We stayed up there for 2 nights and stayed in a cabin and rented snowmobiles. We had a BLAST! It was a wonderful time to spend with eachother and hopefully we can go back in the future.

Well my little sister Caroline is MARRIED!!!!! We drove down to California last week for her and Nick's BIG DAY! They were married in the LA temple. It was a beautiful ceremony. Nate was the photographer and he got some really pretty pictures. It was such a wonderful experience to me in the temple with my whole family and watch Caroline and Nick be sealed for all time and eternity. The reception was a BLAST! It was a party for sure! I am so happy for both of them. Congrats!

Friend Reunion!!!

This last week I headed down to California for my sister's wedding. While I was down there I wanted to get all my girl friends from high school together. I was able to see every one of them and I loved every minuet of it! It feels so good to talk to them and be with them after so many years. I enjoyed seeing all my friends that I have so many great memories with.

This Christmas eve we spent it over at my sister Kelly's house. She planned a nice program. At the end of the program we has a special visitor knock on the door. IT WAS SANTA!!! My Aunt Connie- I remember soooo many memories as a little girl with her. I am so grateful she is my aunt.

My Grandpa and Grandma Evans- I grew up with them and most of my childhood memories have them in it. They hold a special part of my heart and would not want any one else to be me my grandparents.

We had a visit from my parents and grandparents and aunts and cousins and many more family members. They came up for my cousins wedding. It was so nice to see my family. Occasions like this make me so grateful for temples and the knowledge I have that families are forever.

Today we celebrated Joshua's 5Th birthday!!!! We invited some of his friends to go to Leo's and celebrate with us.
I know all mothers say how special their childen are... so this is when I start to tell you what a special Little boy Joshua is. He is the most caring and loving little boy I have ever met. He tells me several times a day how much he loves me. He is always wanting to give me hugs. He is always wanting to spend time with me. I love this little boy so much and he really melts my heart. When I can't think he can't get and sweeter.. he says or does something and I am proven wrong. He holds a special part of my heart and I hope we always have a good relationship. I am so glad he is my son. Happy 5Th birthday WHOOSH WHOOSH!!!

We had a great Halloween this year. I am still waiting to get the pictures from Nate's camera, So all I have is video. We went to Utah to be with the Blaylock family! We always have such a great time when we are together. One of the things I love about the Blaylock's is that we always have fun and you always feel so welcome. In the video below my sister in law and I were forced to participate in a doughnut eating contest with the doughnut hanging from a string. My sister in law Amy and I decided to be good sports and do it. It was a lot of fun. I did cheat a little in the beginning by holding the string but I was able to contain my hands at the end. The kids had lots of activities on Halloween night and they got so much candy!!!! So fun to experience theses fun holidays with my kids! >

HAS IT REALLY BEEN 7 YEARS?.....

7 years ago I married my best friend! I can't believe it's been 7 years! It seems so much longer ( in a good way) Nate and I both feel that we have known each other forever. In 7 years we have done so much! We have a successful business, moved 6 times, been through good times and bad, and have brought 3 special little boys into this world. Nate is gone ALOT for work and in ways it's good for our marriage cause when we are together we really appreciate our time together. We make a really good team. Since we started to date we have always worked with each other. Nothing has changed and we still make a good team. I love Nate with all my heart and know we were always meant for each other. Some of the things I love about him are:

1. He will send me text/e-mails or even calls and just wanted to tell me he loves me. He does this almost everyday.
2. He is always supportive in my dreams and things I want to accomplish.
3. He can handle lots of stress very well
4. He still will come up behind me and put his arm's around me when I am cooking dinner or doing the dishes.
5. He has learned to like my music and will sing and dance with me in the car
6. He still surprises me with fun dates
7. He always kisses me good bye
8. He tells me he is proud of me
9. He has learned how to become very thrifty over the years and has surprised me with the deals he gets on things
10. He is the dad to my boys!!!!!

Meet Anita... My dear friend

I believe Heavenly Father brings people together for reason. Last year Nate met this lady named Anita. Some of you have heard me talk about her. To make a long story short Nate taught her the gospel and then flew out there to Baptize her. Watching them e-mail back and fourth and talking on the phone about the gospel, strengthened my testimony and I felt like I was learning about the gospel all over again.
I have never met Anita. We have e-mailed and talked on the phone lots of times. Anita asked Nate and I if she could come here and visit us. I was SO SO SO excited. Nate and I drove down to Salt lake to pick her up from the airport. I was not nervous at all to meet there very special person. I was filled with excitement and anticipation. As we hugged for the first time, I was filled with happiness. I felt like we have know each other for years. We clicked and became very close very quickly.
We took her to temple square and did EVERYTHING! We walked around the temple and went to the conference center, saw the Joseph Smith movie, we ate at the Lion House. We went to "This is the Place " monument. After that we brought her back to Idaho. From there she spent the days with me and the kids and then when Nate got off of work we went four wheeling and out to dinner. We had such a wonderful time and I will never forget it. Anita thinks we strengthened her testimony... but what she does not realize she strengthen ours. I can't express enough what an AMAZING person she is. I am so impressed with her love for the gospel. She truly is such a special person. We love Anita and are so glad she is apart of our family and look forward to many more memories with her.

Our family vacation 2010

Where do I even start? I have over 500 pictures and I can only choose a few to put on here. We went to New Port OR. This year for our vacation. We rented out a beach house that was literally right on the beach. The kids have never been to the beach, so they were shocked when they saw how big it was. They were also amazed about the waves. We went on hikes to waterfalls, we went to the Spruce Goose, went to a marine museum and touched star fish and saw lots of undersea creatures, we built sand castles, went to the pool, went to the 2nd oldest light house in OR. We went to the Tillamock cheese factory. The highlight of the week was when we went whale watching. We went on a big boat (my kids were sure it was a pirate boat) in the middle of the sea and saw whales. It was AMAZING!!! Although I got sick half way through it, it was still a great experience. We also went to a theme park called "Enchanted Forrest" It had lots of rides and fun things to do there. We enjoyed being there together as a family and not having the stresses of life pop into our heads for that week. I love building the memories with my kids and look forward to more vacations in the future!

For 6 years I have had the baby crib up! There has always been a baby sleeping in it. When a kid grows out of it, it's time for the next kid to have it. Ethan has moved into a big boy bed! He is a little to young to be out of the crib and be in a big boy bed but, he has learned how to get out of his crib and can't get back into it. So hopefully him having a regular bed he will be able to go to sleep. I will keep you posted!!

Let's just hope Parker does not see this video! Last night me... AKA- the "tooth fairy" came and visited Parker. I thought it would be fun to video tape it. Parker got a tooth pulled and was such a good sport! He was so excited to put his tooth under his pillow and wake up to hopefully find some money! This morning he has been talking my ear off about how the "tooth fairy" came here last night! All I have to say is IT'S SO FUN TO BE A MOM!!!

Today is Parker's 6Th birthday. It has been such a fun 6 years with this boy. This birthday party was at leo's here in Idaho Falls. We had a huge turn out and all his friends came. Memorial day 2010

Our family headed down to Utah to spend the weekend with the Blaylock's. While we were down there my sister Caroline came up and we spent sunday together. It was so great to see her. On monday we went to a stocked pond and went fishing! Oh... HOW EXCITING IT WAS! It was probably one of the most enjoyable few hours I have spent with my kids. My nephew Benjamin was there, and with my 3 boys and him... we were very busy catching fish. There was so much excitment it was so fun to watch the kids. We will defintely be back for more fishing.

I open my pantry door and this is what I find! Ethan thinks he can walk around the house and the front and backyard NAKED!!! I am always finding him walking around the house naked. Parker has had a great year in school. He has completed kindergarten and is more then ready for 1st grade. It's so crazy to me to think Parker will be going to school all day this next school year. It's been nice for him to be gone for 3 hours a day, but being gone from 8-3 is crazy! The kids are excited for summer and me too!

A couple of weeks ago we took the kids to a camp ground for the day. We had a picnic and went on a hike and played in the river. Here are some pictures of our trip. Also, a picture of me and Parker. I have made it a goal to take my kids out by them self's on a mother son date and here is a picture of me and Parker before I took him out to ice cream a few nights ago. I am so grateful Parker is my son and I am enjoying watching him grow up.

My sister Teri had her 4th baby on March 31,2010. She named her Samantha Kate Stowe. She is soooooooooo cute! My sister and I drove down to Utah to go visit my sister Teri and our new niece. While we were there we saw my little sister Caroline. It was great to have all of us together but we missed our other sister Lauren. It was a quick trip but it was nice to see my sister and the new baby before they move to New Mexico. Congrats Teri.

This last weekend we went to West Yellowstone. Nate was actually working and the kids and I drove up and stayed in his hotel room and played. We have this new underwater camera and I had a blast taking pictures of Parker under water.... he was the only one who would go under water. We stayed there 3 days and had a great time. Joshua gets his tonsils out!

Well, today Joshua got his tonsils out. We woke up at 6:00am drove to the hospital and got him all situated. Everything went pretty well. Joshua's doctor did tell me that he had the biggest tonsils he had ever seen from a little child.
When they brought Joshua back to me he was in tears and really sad, and really scared. I will never forget when I went up to Joshua to let him know I was there, he put his hand out and asked me to hold his hand. My heart melted and I jumped in that bed and cuddled him. He is such a sweet spirit. Nate was able to take part of the day off of work to be there for Joshua and I knew that Joshua was so happy and comforted to have his "best friend" there. Joshua is doing good and taking advantage of all the ice cream for sure!!!!

Joshua had just come out of surgery and was still in tears. Poor Kid.

I am so happy that I had Parker and Joshua so close to each other. They Love to play with each other. The last few months they have been sleeping on floor in there bedroom and they sleep really close together. When I come in every night to check on them, they are always sleeping right next to each other. I hope that they will stay close as brothers as they grow up.

Joshua has this special bond with Nate. Joshua is VERY attached to him. Joshua would rather watch a grown up show with Nate, then be playing with friends or watching cartoons. He is always telling Nate that he is his best friend. I sure love Joshua and so happy he is my little boy.

Ethan is ALWAYS up to something. I can't leave him alone for 1 sec. He can be an angel 1 sec ( when he is asleep) and the next min. he is doing something bad. As you can see, he feel asleep the other night with his toy in his hand. ( I know pretty cute). Then the next morning after he got up he destroyed my bathroom. I love this little boy so much. I am however looking forward to him growing out of this stage.

Christmas break 2009!

Christmas break in Utah was so fun. We stayed with Nate's family in Ogden. We went sledding several times, to the movies, bowling, we went to the gateway mall, temple square and much more. Nate and I went to Salt Lake and met up with my sister Kelly and her husband and 2 of her older kids and we saw savior of the world. It was so good. I enjoyed it. I actually learned a lot.Now it's time to go back to the "real world" and kids go back to school, Nate goes back to work. It was a great Christmas break.

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. I have realized that each year as my kids get older, I get more and more excited for Christmas morning. Nate has 2 weeks off and were enjoying every minuet of it. Were realaxing, spending lots of time with the kids and family. We will hit the dollar movie theaters a couple of times, go sledding etc. Later this week we wil be in Utah visiting Nate's family. So there will be more pictures to come. Merry Christmas!

Mr. Trouble!!!!

This is for Papa Blaylock! This is proof!!!!!! Ethan is ALWAYS IN TROUBLE. Nate left the fridge door open for 1 sec and we looked back and Ethan had grabbed a bottle of ranch dressing a dumped it all over his head and all of the kitchen floor. As we tried to clean up the mess Nate took Ethan into the bathroom to give him a bath. As we gave him a bath he got out of the tub and grabbed the role of toilet paper and threw it in the toilet. ( sorry don't have pictures) This kids keeps me on my toes! I am so grateful to report that he is in bed and he can't get into anymore trouble for the next 8 hours. (unless he takes his diaper off in the middle of the night)lol

Today, Parker surprised me with drawing of Nate and I. So my picture is clearly a girl in a pink dress. It's what you would expect to see from a 5 year old. Then he showed me Nate's picture and it really scared me. It looked like a monster. So I saved these pictures for Nate and put them side by side and Nate could not help but laugh. Then he started to think about it and said, " Should I be worried about Parker's drawing of me?" Anyways, my kids are always making Nate and I laugh.

Slumber Party!

Last weekend Nate and the boys made a tent on the boys bunk beds. THey had flash lights and books and treats. The boys thought the tent was so cool! What a fun memory for the boys to have with there dad. They are asking when they can do it again.

Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving this year was great. My family from California and my sister and her family came up from Lehi, Utah. My grandparents came up from St. George as well. Also for Thanksgiving dinner my friend Sandy and her son Dawson joined us. It was nice to have everyone together. While we were all together we also celebrated my grandma and grandpa's birthdays.
My Sister Kelly had the dinner at her home. She lives 1 mile down the street from me. She put alot of work into dinner and had fun crafts for the kids to do. My sister Teri baked the whole time she was here. She is an amazing cook. With both of them together I knew it would be a successful Thanksgiving.

We got some snow last week and the kids were so excited to go sledding. My neighbor has a little hill in her yard that is perfect for kids to go down. So they played with there friend Brielle. It was a fun day for all!

This last year I have become really good friends with my neighbor Marnie. We hang out almost everyday. She is such a sweet person and I really enjoy being friends with her. Well tonight, I suprised her for her birthday and took her out to dinner. Her husband stayed home with her 3 kids and Nate stayed home with ours. So we were able to have a girls night out. I think we talked about everything that we had on our minds. It was a nice change to talk to eachother with out all of our kids talking over us because that's how it is most of the time when we hang out. We enjoyed our dinner and dessert. I wanna wish Marnie a HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

A lesson learned, with a little humor

Well this evening I noticed that someone in our family opened up a snack and took 1 bite of it and then put it in the trash can. I saw it and I asked the boys who wasted the snack. I already knew it was Joshua, so I wanted to see if he would fess up. So both boys were going back and fourth saying, " no he did it!" then Parker tells me " Mom, I think it was magic" I about busted up laughing. So I turned my back and put my hand over my mouth to not let the boys see me laughing. So when I finally got my self under control I turned around and said, " Okay both of you need to sit out in time out until one of you tell the truth". So I put them in time out in 2 different locations and waited for someone (meaning Joshua) to tell the truth.
Well while this was all happening Ethan was wondering where the boys went. Well he heard Joshua behind the laundry room door. And then Joshua was putting his fingers at the bottom of the door. So Ethan thought that was so funny. They both were playing with each others fingers through the door giggling.
After all said and done....... Joshua came out and told the truth. So at least I got what I wanted. A lesson to be learned about honesty. And who cares if timeout was a fun experience.

My future missionaries

I thought that Parker and Joshua looked like little missionaries today at church. They are growing up so fast. I was thinking about when they do go on missions that they will be out at the same time at one point. Parker will be at the very end of his and Joshua will be heading out. They will go 4 years with out seeing each other. Kinda makes me sad because they are best buds.... but maybe when there 19 they wont be. lol. Who knows. I look at theses boys and I am filled with happiness.

We had a great Halloween this year. As the boys get older they get more competive about how many house they "hit" We brought alog Parker and Joshua's friend Dawson. All the boys were screaming with excitment. And grandpa blaylock was there too. A good time was had by all!

Joshua turned 4 on Nov. 3. We had a huge party for him on Halloween, and we invited all of his friends to come. It was a great party. Joshua felt very special! ( which he is!) His grandpa Blaylock drove up from Utah to be here for his big day! We are so grateful that grandpa was able to come up. Also grandpa was able to teach Joshua how to ride a bike with not training wheels! It was a very memorable day!

Dirty dishes and a buffet breakfast!

Okay.... So this morning I am laying in bed and I can hear Parker in the kitchen doing who knows what. I hear lots of dishes being moved around. I was so tired I really did not care. It seemed to go on forever. I kept laying in bed thinking,
"What the heck is he doing?" I put my head under my pillow and tried to fall asleep. FINALLY after 30 min of loud dishes banging together it becomes quiet. But not for long. Parker comes running in my room and says " Mom I have a really really big surprise for you!!!" So I decide to get up cause I know I won't be able to get any sleep. I walk into the kitchen and he opens the dishwasher and he had unloaded the VERY full dishwasher and put all the dishes away. Well...... I was so thrilled until I realized that all those dishes were really dirty, and I for got to turn on the dishwasher last night. So Parker put away all the dirty dishes into the cabinets. I looked at him and he was so excited to show me. I was thinking to myself...." Oh my gosh, there is so many dirty dishes in my cupboards!" But I reached down and gave him a hug and told him thank you for helping me with the dishes. It melted my heart. What a thoughtful thing to do for his mom.
As if that is not enough I look up on the counter and there are 6 boxes of cereal and 6 yogurts sitting on the counter. I asked him what those were for. And he said, " I put out all the cereal we had and all the yogurt we had so you could choose what you wanted for breakfast!"
I could not believe that he made me breakfast too! It's times like these that you are so grateful your a mom! I felt so appreciated this morning, despite the extra work I will need to do this morning by finding all those dirty dishes he put away and washing them. I love Parker!

Joshua is my helper

Joshua is such a helper. He helps me with Ethan. He takes him for walks and plays toys with him. I am able to get alot done because Joshua is so good with Ethan.

Soccer's Over

Parker and Joshua are done with Soccer. It was a great 6 weeks. The boys really enjoyed playing it. I know they will want to do it again next year.
